PP 3D Printing Filament | FormFutura Hong Kong Reseller

PP (Polypropylene) is one of the most common materials on the market. Formfutura’s PP 3D printing filament (1.75mm/ 2.85mm) is a very lightweight and high-performance 3D printing material with high chemical resistance. The material of Formfutura has a stable wire diameter, which keeps the 3D printing process smooth and allows the printed product to maintain the highest quality. 3D Lab Store is the Hong Kong reseller of Formfutura 3D printing materials. The PP 3D printing filament that can be found in the 3D Lab Store include Centaur PP 3D printing filaments and Pegasus PP Ultralight 3D printing materials, with different wire diameter options.

The Characteristics of Centaur PP 3D Printing Filament

Formfutura Centaur PP 3D printing filament is a lightweight and high-performance polypropylene (PP) 3D printing filament. It has excellent mechanical properties and excellent layer-to-layer adhesion. Centaur PP 3D printing filament combine unique material properties, which makes Centaur PP an extremely diverse and versatile material.

Main feature:
– Meet food contact standards
– Dishwasher and microwave safe
– Lightweight material: material density is 0.9 g/cc
– Only single-sided printing can achieve watertight printing
– Good flexibility: PP 3D printing filament can be stretched to> 600% before breaking
– Shore hardness D50
– Improved wear resistance and fatigue resistance
– High chemical resistance
– Excellent layer-to-layer adhesion, not easy to break
– After adding LDPE tape to the platform, the model has excellent adhesion to the printing platform

The Characteristics of Pegasus PP Ultralight 3D Printing Filament

Pegasus PP Ultralight 3D printing filament is most likely to be the lightest printing material in the world. Pegasus PP Ultralight 3D printing filament are nanotechnology-enhanced compounds based on Formfutura’s Centaur PP and other PP grades, as well as various impact modifiers and adhesives. Due to the use of nanotechnology, the weight and/or density of Pegasus PP Ultralight is 20% lower than that of ordinary PP 3D printing filaments. Pegasus PP Ultralight combines all the mechanical properties of PP 3D printing materials with extremely lightweight characteristics, making it a material that is very suitable for applications such as automobiles, drones, wear-resistant and durable applications.

Main features:
– Extremely lightweight: the material density is 0.75 g/cc, which is 20% lighter than ordinary PP and 40% lighter than ordinary PLA
– Good abrasion resistance and fatigue resistance of the printed product
– High chemical resistance
– Does not absorb moisture
– Excellent layer-to-layer adhesion, the model is not easy to break
– After adding LDPE tape to the platform, the model has excellent adhesion to the printing platform
