Flashforge Hunter 3D Printer adopts DLP(Digital Light Processing)3D Printing technology, which is different from the FFF 3D Printing technology. DLP 3D Printer uses high resolution projector and photosensitive resin printing materials. When projector projects layer of image of the 3D model onto the resin, the resin will react chemically and form a solid. As DLP light source is applied to the entire surface of the vat of photopolymer resin, Printing time by DLP is faster than SLA.
The XY axis layer resolution of Flashforge Hunter DLP 3D Printer is 0.0625mm, therefore Hunter DLP 3D printer can print a very detailed model. Also Hunter DLP 3D printer is compatible to 3rd party resin, so users can have more flexibility to try different type of resin such as castable resin, tough resin, biocompatible resin etc. Therefore, Flashforge Hunter DLP 3D Printer can be applied in engineering, jewelry or medical industries.
Flashforge Hunter DLP 3D printer uses the self-developed Full HD 1080p resolution light engine, which can ensure more stable LED intensity and better printing quality. Also, as Flashforge Hunter 3D Printer adopts FlashForge’s self-developed light engine, the light engine has been adjusted to a particular wavelength (405nm LED) for 3D printing. This fine tune can best fit the printing process, which can lead to a better printing result.
