UltiMaker Material Station

The UltiMaker Material Station is an add-on for the UltiMaker S5 and UltiMaker S7. In combination with a Material Station, the printers benefit from increased productivity, enhanced reliability, and a more hassle-free workflow for operators.

The UltiMaker Material Station reads the NFC tags in the spool. This automatic detection only works for UltiMaker and UltiMaker certified materials. Third-party materials can be manually chosen from the list. The Material Station provides automated material handling, allowing for seamless filament switching and increased print capacity with up to six material spools. It also features humidity control to ensure optimal material conditions.

The UltiMaker Material Station automates filament loading, unloading, and storage, ensuring a continuous supply of materials for uninterrupted printing. With its smart sensor technology, it detects filament presence, detects the end of a spool, and even identifies different materials automatically. This intelligent system minimizes downtime, reduces the need for manual intervention, and optimizes workflow efficiency.
