Flashforge Filament Drying Station

Flashforge Filament Drying Station is a multifunctional product that integrates 3D printing equipment placement, storage and drying of 3D printing filaments, and a movable shelf. It improves the whole process of 3D printing, the print efficiency and print quality when used with Creator 4. The Flashforge Filament Drying Station improves the whole process of 3D printing, ensures the stable use of filaments throughout the whole workflow, maximizing your printer uptime and guarantees the printing quality. The heating temperature can be up to 120℃, which makes it easy to dry filaments that have absorbed moisture and restore the properties of filaments.

Flashforge Filament Drying Station equips with intelligent dry storage. When the desiccant absorbs moisture and reaches its saturation, the system will automatically start the regeneration mode, and the moisture in the desiccant will be discharged through hot air circulation. Thus, the desiccant can be reused for 1 year.  Also, it has large drawer-type storage space. It can accommodate 6 rolls of 1KG filament or 2 rolls of 2.5KG filament.

Hygroscopicity, the tendency to absorb moisture, is a great enemy of 3D printing. Even a small percentage of humidity will have a negative impact on the properties of most carbon fiber filaments, glass fiber filaments and other materials. Printing with wet filaments will not only lead to surface quality defects, but also destroy the material properties, which will lead to the inability to meet the requirements of the application end. The importance of proper storage and drying of materials is self-evident.
